Unzip the file before loading — the browser needs the actual extension folder, not a compressed archive.

  1. 1Download the zip and unzip it to a folder you can find later.
  2. 2Open Vivaldi and go to vivaldi://extensions.
  3. 3Turn on Developer mode (top-right toggle).
  4. 4Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
  5. 5Pin FasterGPT to the toolbar and open ChatGPT to try it.

Tips

Keep the unzipped folder — deleting it removes the extension. Updates are installed by downloading the new zip and clicking Refresh on the extension card. Once published, the Chrome Web Store listing will give you one-click auto-updating installs.
